Please call our freefone number on 0800 634 7078 or ring us on 0161 236 6969. If this is not possible then send your your payment in the post.
You may experience a delay with receiving your policy documentation but rest assured if we have received your payment then the policy will renew.

You can download a claim form here and return this to us along with an estimate for the repair at a later date.

StoneGuard can insure against damage, from minor repairs to total replacement, all from as little as £6.20 a year. For a little more peace of mind when extra worry is the last thing you need.
What’s protected with StoneGuard?
StoneGuard is an ‘all risks’ policy. This means it will cover the cost of repair if things like damage from lawnmowers, falling trees and subsidence occur; or preventative measures taken by local councils when they judge a memorial stone to be unsafe and you are responsible for putting things right. With StoneGuard, you’ll get the reassurance that your memorial is covered against:
- Accidental damage, including vandalism (malicious damage)
- Storm
- Theft or attempted theft
- Impact (e.g. by a mower)
- Flood and frost
- Falling trees
- Subsidence
- Staining other than by natural weathering caused by tree sap, bird or animal droppings, or flowers
- Council action
It also covers you against damage to or re-fixing and realignment of the memorial stone directly arising from faulty or defective workmanship by any stonemason whose business has ceased trading. Plus, with our Memorial Stone Policy (please note: this is not applicable to our All Risks Policy) legal responsibility to pay damages up to £2,000,000 arising from ownership of the memorial which results in accidental injury of any person, or damage to property. StoneGuard Refund Policy
If having examined your policy, you decide not to proceed with the insurance, you have 14 days to cancel it starting on the day you receive the policy documentation or the policy start date, whichever is the later – this is called ‘the cooling off period’. We will refund any premiums already paid, except when you have already made a claim under your policy.
• Refunds will be made within (5) business days of us processing your request
• Please note that some refunds may be subject to the terms and conditions of your policy e.g a claim, requested policy change
• All refunds will be made to the credit card from which the original payment was taken however, a cheque will be issued if this cannot be done because of reasons beyond our control
• Payments will be made in the currency displayed when making payment
• This refund policy applies only to card payments for StoneGuard products and services.
What does StoneGuard cost?
These premiums are for a five year period, for memorial stones in UK cemeteries and churchyards. All figures below are inclusive of insurance premium tax at the current rate.
